Get on the perfect-fit podcast with Listen Notes
Guesting on podcasts is still a fantastic way to build brand and authority. You can reach new audiences, promote offers and opt ins (in the link you provide for the notes — don't sell on a show!), and align your brand with others that your ICP is more familiar with.
But finding ones that fit your subject mater expertise and brand can be exhausting. Thankfully Listen Notes exists! It craws through by category, keyword, playlist, and even iTunes ids. You pay for access to the results, saving you time to do something similar in a manual way.
My question to you: in considering what podcasts to have team members guest on, have you clarified the unique story/angle they bring to the topic?

LinkedIn automatically "opted" you into AI training. Here's how to fix it:
This boils my blood, because you can't "opt" someone into something without their knowledge. That's just "force". But I digress.
LinkedIn now has "Data for Generative AI Improvement" already turned on for your profile. GROSS. Here is what you do to turn it off (doing it on desktop or the app will apply it to both):
1. Click your profile image.
2. Click "Settings & Privacy".
3. Click "Data privacy".
4. Turn off "Data for Generative AI Improvement".
While you're in your profile settings, be sure to go through them all: it's most likely you've been receiving annoying notifications you don't need to achieve your goals on LinkedIn. I personally like to receive emails when someone connects or DMs me so I can respond promptly. But otherwise I have all other notifications (even push notifications on my phone!) off.
Hat-tip to my martech associate Ruth at Techity Consulting for bringing this to my attention! She's my go-to for technical aspects of marketing projects.
My question to you: are there settings with your favourite martech you need to revisit?
PS: it's not lost on me that I have this resource in here while also promoting a LinkedIn masterclass. Digital life be complicated, eh?
Creating a community group so your ICP can support each other.
Collaborating with brands that sell to your ICP.
Build relationships with offline community connectors.
Plus 2 more ways, with examples so his suggestions are tangible. The video is aimed at solo creators, but I argue the value holds true in the B2B marketing space.
My question to you: what are your newsletter subscriber growth stats? Are you checking in on them at least once a month?
#4 8 (short & sweet) ways to improve webpage conversion
I love advice that's short, sweet, and powerful. Blake Emal's "8 ways to convert more" is just that. Succinct advise paired with screenshots to get his ideas across, this article covers copy writing, design, and user flow. My question to you: how could you add huge value to prospects with something short and sweet?
RFPs are shitty. Let's be witty.
When I ask B2B business owners their thoughts on RFPs, here's what I hear most often:
"RFPs are a race to the bottom. They're only interested in lowest cost."
"Orgs are putting RFPs out, even though they already know who they're going to go with. So frustrating!"
"When you look at what they want, it's clear they have no idea what they actually need!"
Full agreement. RFPs suck.
Yet, many companies continue to spend hours and energy on something with very low ROI.
In the time it takes to (big breath, this is a long sentence)... find the RFP, spec out your cost, email the contact for multiple followup questions, write the damn thing, wait around while they delay decision making...
...you could be closing deals that center around warm relationships and doing great work together.
So let's take some shitty situations and use our marketing wits to turn them into opportunity:
Shitty: "RFPs are a race to the bottom. They're only interested in the lowest cost."
Witty: Market from a place of outcomes and value; provide your rates with transparency; offer comparisons in your nurturing sequences.

Shitty: "Orgs are putting RFPs out, even though they already know who they're going to go with. So frustrating!"
Witty: Proactively build relationships with prospects before they need you through social media DMs, attending their events, and advisory through your content.

Shitty: "When you look at what they want, it's clear they have no idea what they actually need!"
Witty: Create content that addresses misconceptions, taboo topics, and insider information that educates and elevates your ideal audience's perception of what you do.

See, your marketing is already positioned to make this happen.
But only if you're willing to break up with RFPs and start dating your audience.
Are you ready to do that?
Leads down this quarter? Hoping to cut some marketing activity so you can focus on better results?
