Interesting stats & articles to inspire your business growth online.

#1
46% of all Google Searches are for local information

Ok, time for a little pep talk. For anyone that thinks there's no advantage to disclosing where you operate on your website. Especially my Atlantic Canadian service providers who feel like they shouldn't disclose they're from places like Yarmouth or Sussex. Social Media Today has a great infographic all about Local SEO that is going to prove to you the value of search engines knowing your location.

My question to you: are you leveraging the geographical location of your company for leads and SEO? This is a great way to quickly outrank competitors who aren't!

89% of Pinterest users have use it for purchase inspiration

Pinterest isn't just for creative inspiration. I was poking around their business blog and came across some interesting stats about their user base. 89% of users using it to re-qualify a purchase? There's gold in them hills!

I also recommend reading their Success stories section. The variety of industries that are seeing amazing results from Pinterest blew me away: even insurance companies were digging into gold.

My question to you: have you evaluated which social platforms are bringing you true ROI? Likes and follows are ok, but conversion is where the real magic happens. Especially if you're running your own social media marketing.

Where should your start marketing a new business or product? An informative read!

Facebook ads or Google Ad? Start with SEO? Rand Fishkin answered the common question: where should you start marketing a new business or product?

His answer is very thoughtful and focused on customer research. Because that's how you answer any tactical question: where is your audience?

My question to you: are you getting overwhelmed with the
what and how... but don't really know who you're trying to serve? I can help!
